About Us

The five founders of Regenerate and the project "Paint the Dream" make up a group of teenage girls living in California's Bay Area. Mallika Chatterjee, Deborah Chen, Emily Hsu, Brittany Lau, and Jocelyn Tam are all avid supporters of the environment, imagination and art, change, and the community as a whole. These mutual interests and the discovery of the Loma Prieta Earthquake's 25th anniversary brought them all together, and after several meet-ups, the five girls created the non-profit organization, Regenerate. Within the short span of just two weeks, they launched the "Paint the Dream" project.
